Our Story
My name is Randy Page, and I love chocolate.
In 1990 I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, and since then I've traveled all over the United States as a chef - cooking, baking, teaching, and experiencing great food.
In 1998, while living on the California coast, I made hand-dipped chocolate truffles to send to friends and family members for Christmas. I sought out incredibly high-quality ingredients because I wanted to offer something unique, special, and exemplary - something that could only be made, not bought.
Over the years the resulting recipes and techniques have developed into Cricket & Fig Chocolate. Now anyone can enjoy the same great gifts that my family has for two decades.
Welcome to Cricket & Fig Chocolate. Treat yourself.

Cricket & Fig
In the summer of 2016 a close friend offered me a puppy. That puppy very quickly became my Pure Joy, and her name is Cricket. She's the one on the left.
In February of 2018 I decided that Cricket needed a playmate more her size, and I adopted a little guy that we called Fig.
Cricket and Fig are inseparable. They love each other, and they are each others' Pure Joy.
When I needed a name for my chocolate company I couldn't think of another name that conveyed the elegance, playfulness, passion, and pure joy of life better than Cricket & Fig.
